Cá kho tộ (Clay pot catfish in caramel sauce)

♥ Ingredients:
(2 portions)

Two 4-oz bone-in catfish steaks
2 oz pork belly
1 tsp salt
2 tbsp sugar
1 tsp molasses
¼ tsp freshly ground black pepper
1 ½ tbsp fish sauce
1 cup chicken broth
½ tbsp oil
2 shallots, thinly sliced
4 green onion, white parts only, minced
fresh chili slices and green onion green part, for garnish
steamed rice, for serving

2 lát cá catfish 125 g mỗi lát
60 g thịt ba rọi
1 tsp muỗng cà phê muối
2 tbsp (30 g) muỗng canh đường
1 tsp nước màu (dùng đường mật molasses)
¼ tsp muỗng cà phê tiêu xay
1½ tbsp muỗng canh nước mắm
1 cup (240 ml) nước dùng gà
½ tbsp muỗng canh dầu
2 củ hành ta, thái mỏng
4 gốc hành lá, băm nhỏ
Vài lát ớt và hành lá trang trí (tuỳ thích)
